“Pacino”
This bad ass male is coming from probably the best melanistic clutch in 2007. He was produced by Ben Evans and comes from his “Mitey Mel” x “Lil Stevie” pairing.
His sire “Mitey Mel” was produced by Jeff Hudson and his sire was “Dagon”, the Lemon Tree male now owned by Andrew Kelley. “Dagon” sired the famous Lemon x Dream clutch back in 2001. That makes “Mitey Mel” a half sibling to all dream line chondros.
Dam to “Mitey Mel” was produced by Greg Maxwell from his “Pygar” x “Joan Collins” pairing. “Joan Collins” was a full sibling to legendary “Powder” and Tim Morris blue female. All of them were TW blue line females and hormonally solid blue and did produce many super blue and true blue chondros while they were alive.
His dam “Lil Stevie” was a Trooper Walsh blue line female. Her sire was a full sibling to the most famous super blue male on this planet, the one and only “Mr. Blue”, now owned by John Holland. Her dam was a nice looking highland female.
“Pacino” is 25% Lemon Tree line, 50% TW blue line and 25% highland. His pedigree goes back to 1974 when Karl Switak produced probably the first chondro clutch in captivity ever. It is really amazing how chondro with these genes became melanistic. I am really curious what will he produce when paired with some nice high yellow, blue line or melanistic females... His potential is endless and I really hope that he will be potent stud and produce for me multiple times with different females. At this moment he is the best looking chondro in my collection and by far everyone favorite. He is monster feeder and very active at night! I just love him!
